Two countries that have distinct cultures are Japan and Philippines. These two countries have their differences in terms of their vast and wonderful cultures. We can compare them and let us be amaze and say "WOW" with their beautiful culture that we can adapt some also.

Nihonjins used to bow as sign of respect while Filipinos kiss someone elder's hand or bless - putting a hand on your forehead. Nihonjins eat Sushi that consist of raw fish while many Filipinos don't like the taste of raw fish's. Nihonjins often drink teas to rejuvenate their bodies while Filipinos drink a hot cup of Tablea - chocolate disc. Nihonjins used to prepare a Bento - complete meal consisting of rice, veggies, meat etc. while Filipinos were contented on a meal of rice with one viand.  Chopsticks and bowls were used often by Nihonjins as eating utensils while spoons, forks and plates were commonly used by Filipinos.  Nihonjins preferred spicy sauce like Wasabe and a bowl of Ramen to heat up their bodies if the weather is cold while Filipinos have their very own Champorado - a chocolate porridge with Daing - a dried salted fish. Nihonjins while eating, girls are separated from boys while Filipinos preferred a complete family members in one table. Nihonjins have their Sake - rice wine while Filipinos have their Lambanog - coconut sap wine. Nihonjins have three styles of writing such as: Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana while Filipinos use the Romanized system of writing. Nihonjins have their very own art of folding papers called Origami while Filipinos have one of their old style of painting called Batik. Nihonjins are very known by their sport Sumo wrestling while Filipinos have the sport of Sipa that uses Rattan ball. Nihonjins were known by riding bicycles and their Shinkan-sen - bullet train  while Filipinos have Jeepneys with different colorful designs. Nihonjins have Kimono while Filipinos have Baro't Saya. Shinto is a native language of Nihonjins while Catholicism and Islam are widely tolerated by Filipinos. Nihonjins used to spoke their native language called Nihongo while Filipinos because of different ethnic groups, languages varies such as: Tagalog, Cebuano and many more. These are some examples of great cultures of Japan and Philippines.

We know that Japan is one of the country that is advanced in terms of technologies and have a stable economy unlike Philippines but these countries may be equal if they will share each others cultures. No matter how vast the Japanese and Filipino cultures they have their own distinct uniqueness that will make them world class. So what ever may happen we need to be proud and patriotic in our own ethnicity because this will serve as our identity if we will visit many countries because culture is country's identity.
